The Ontario government is investing in critical infrastructure to facilitate the construction of up to 300 new homes in Cavan Monaghan.  The funding is being delivered through the Housing-Enabling Core Servicing Stream under the Municipal Housing Infrastructure Program, which includes $400 million to help build, repair and maintain municipal roads, bridges and culverts that will promote housing growth in communities across Ontario.

On Monday January 27th, 2025, the Township was awarded $1,271,875.00 in Provincial funding to complete a four-way intersection at Fallis Line and County Road 10 and to provide access to both residential and commercial development both south and north of Fallis Line.

More information about the announcement is available through the enclosed press release.
