Arts and Culture

The Township of Cavan Monaghan is rich with diverse local arts, culture and heritage. Several organizations work to encourage and develop initiatives that add to the richness.

The Township was the proud recipient of the Creative Communities Partnership Fund program introduced by the Ministry of Culture. Cavan Monaghan is the smallest municipality in the province to have received funding to undertake a cultural resource mapping exercise, which is a founding step towards municipal cultural planning.  Visit the Cultural Mapping Final Report for more information.
