Highway 115 Ramp Closure Notice

Please be advised that the following ramps will be closed at Peterborough County Road 10 and Porter Road during the week of Monday July 3rd, 2023 to Friday July 7th, 2023 for 24 hours in order to complete culvert replacements on the ramps. The timeline for each ramp closure is provided in detail below. This work will be completed by Fidelity Engineering & Construction for the Ministry of Transportation on the Design-Build Contract 2021-4087.

During these ramp closures detours will be implemented to direct local traffic around the closures. Notification signage will be erected a minimum of one week prior to the scheduled ramp closure to notify the travelling public.

Access and passage via these ramps during dates provided below will not be possible since there will be an open road excavation.

Schedule of Construction

  • Peterborough County Rd 10 – E-N/S (SB, towards Toronto) offramp closure
    • Closure will begin at 12am on the morning of Tuesday July 4th, 2023 and the ramp will be closed 24 hours.
    • Emergency vehicle access to the closed ramps will not be possible, and it will be necessary to use the established detours instead
  • Peterborough County Rd 10 – E-N/S (SB, towards Toronto) onramp closure
    • Closure will begin at 12am on the morning of Wednesday July 5th, 2023 and the ramp will be closed 24 hours.
    • Emergency vehicle access to the closed ramps will not be possible, and it will be necessary to use the established detours instead
  • Porter Road – E-N/S (SB, towards Toronto) offramp closure
    • Closure will begin at 12am on the morning of Thursday July 6th, 2023 and the ramp will be closed 24 hours.
    • Emergency vehicle access to the closed ramps will not be possible, and it will be necessary to use the established detours instead
