Cavan Monaghan Announces Santa Claus Parade Float Winners

Members of the Township of Cavan Monaghan Council were on hand to judge float participants at the Santa Claus Parade held this past Saturday, December 10^th, 2022 in Millbrook. 

King Street in Millbrook was lined with residents and visitors to the Community to watch a record twenty-four floats make their way from the Christian Assembly to the Old Arena.

“Judging this year was difficult,” says Deputy Mayor Ryan Huntley “it was like picking the best from the best.” Otonabee Massage with their Elves Health Hut took first prize; the Cotton-headed Ninny Muggins with their Peanuts-themed family float took second prize and Eagleson Construction with their snowmobiling reindeer took third prize.

A big thank you to all of the parade participants and volunteers who made this year’s parade a huge success.
