Pilot Organic Waste Program - Millbrook Residents Only

As of November 1, 2019, the Township of Cavan Monaghan will begin a pilot Organic Waste Program for Millbrook area residents. This program has been put in place to increase the waste diversion by encouraging the separation of organic materials from actual waste. Residents in the pilot program area will have a curbside and kitchen collector bin delivered to their homes on October 18 and 19. These bins will be left at the end of the driveway and inside will be a poster with more information about the program. The Township has put together a organic waste sorting guide that can be used as a reference.

For residents moving in after the start date, please contact the Public Works Department for bin pick-up.
