Fire Services

The mission of the Cavan Monaghan Fire Department is to act to protect and/or rescue citizens and/or property from threats to health, the effects of natural or man-made disaster, and in particular the risk that a fire, if started, would seriously endanger the health and safety of any person or quality of the natural environment for any use that can be made of it.

The Cavan Monaghan Fire Department currently has two fire stations and ten pieces of apparatus and is served by sixty dedicated and professional Volunteer Firefighters. The department answers in excess of 500 calls for service a year ranging from structure fires to medical calls.
