Notice of Complete Application and Public Meeting - Rezoning Application ZBA-04-18 (Streefland) 

In accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act, as amended, this letter is to advise that a complete application has been received by the Township of Cavan Monaghan Planning Department for a zoning by-law amendment.  The application applies to a portion of the lands known municipally as 3 Buckland Drive and described as Part Lot 13, Concession 5 of the Millbrook Ward.  The zoning by-law amendment is required as a condition of consent for Peterborough County Land Division File B-8-18.  The zoning by-law amendment application was received by the Township on September 13, 2018 and deemed complete on September 28, 2018.

In accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act, as amended, this letter is to advise that a complete application has been received by the Township of Cavan Monaghan Planning Department for a zoning by-law amendment.  The application applies to a portion of the lands known municipally as 589 Syer Line and described as Part Lots 8 and 9, Concession 7 of the Cavan Ward.  The zoning by-law amendment is required as a condition of consent for Peterborough County Land Division File B-5-18.  The zoning by-law amendment application was received by the Township on October 9, 2018 and deemed complete on November 16, 2018.

Notice of Passing of a Comprehensive Zoning By-law No. 2018-58

Take Notice that the Council of the Township of Cavan Monaghan passed By-law No. 2018-58 on the 1st day of October, 2018 under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, as amended.

The purpose and effect of the By-law is to regulate the use of land throughout the Township in accordance with Section 34 of the Planning Act.  The Comprehensive Zoning By-law has been updated to conform to the Township of Cavan Monaghan Official Plan and Provincial legislation.  The effect of the Comprehensive Zoning By-law is to prohibit the use of land and the erection and use of buildings and structures except for certain purposes, and to regulate the type of construction and the height, bulk, location, size, floor area, density, character and use of buildings.

The Comprehensive Zoning By-law applies to all lands within the Township of Cavan Monaghan.  As such, a key map has not been provided.

  

Notice of Statutory Public Open House and Public Meeting to consider a new Comprehensive Zoning By-law for the Township of Cavan Monaghan 

In accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act, as amended, this notice is to advise that the Township of Cavan Monaghan is conducting a review and update of its Zoning By-law to implement the Township's Official Plan, address local issues, and create a modern and user-friendly document.  The purpose and effect of the Zoning By-law is to regulate the use of land throughout the Township.  With the passing of the new Comprehensive Zoning By-law, the  existing Zoning By-law No. 2004-62 would be repealed.  The proposed Comprehensive Zoning By-law applies to all lands within the Township of Cavan Monaghan and therefore a key map has not been provided with this notice.

Notice of Intention To Remove Holding Symbol

Take Notice that the Council of the Township of Cavan Monaghan intends to pass an amending by-law to remove the holding symbol (h) from the Residential Type One Exception Ten Holding (R1-10-h) Zone, the Residential Type One Exception Eleven Holding (R1-11-h) Zone, the Residential Type One Exception Twelve Holding (R1-12-h) Zone, the Residential Type One Exception Thirteen Holding (R1-13-h) Zone, the Residential Type One Exception Fourteen Holding (R1-14-h) Zone, the Residential Type One Exception Fifteen (R1-15) Zone, the Residential Type One Exception Sixteen Holding (R1-16-h) Zone and the Residential Type Three Exception Five Holding (R3-5-h) Zone as they pertain to the Towerhill Subdivision lands in part of Lot 12, Concession 5 of the Cavan Ward (File No. 14T-15001). 

The subject lands are legally described as Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4, Plan 45R-16279 and Parts 1 and 2, Plan 45R-14072 in part of Lot 12, Concession 5, Geographic Township of Cavan, Township of Cavan Monaghan. A key map showing the lands to which the By-law applies is provided on the attached notice.
