Take Notice that the Council of the Township of Cavan Monaghan, in accordance with subsection 36(4) of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, as amended, intends to pass an amending by-law to remove the holding symbol from the Residential Type One Exception Eight Holding (R1-8-h) Zone of Zoning By-law No. 2004-62, as amended, as it pertains to lands at 30 Huston Street and described as Plan 18A Lots 8 to 12 S Brock Street, Part Lots 13 to 17 Glen Erin Street, Lots 18 to20 North William Street of the Millbrook Ward.

Take Notice that the Township of Cavan Monaghan is proposing a housekeeping Amendment to the Official Plan for the Township of Cavan Monaghan.  The Amendment is required to introduce a new Section to allow the Township to exercise the options available to municipalities under Implementation Guidelines #7, #9, #35 and #38 and #38 of the Minimum Distance Separation (MDS) Formulae and Guidelines, Publication 853 effective March 1, 2017.  The Amendment will apply to the entire Township.

Towerhill Developments Inc. submitted plan of subdivision and zoning by-law amendment applications to Peterborough County and the Township of Cavan Monaghan. The lands subject to the applications are located in part of Lot 12, Concession 5 of the Cavan Ward.
